BEHIND THE LENS

 

 

My approach to photography reflects my philosophy on life:  be present (in the moment - i.e. enjoyment is crucial); be patient (I am a natural observer); be passionate (bring an artist's attention to detail and aesthetic).
 
I love natural light.  It's challenging to make use of what's available at any moment in time; yet when it works, what you have is something tangible that faithfully evokes the colours and mood consistent with your memory.
 
I also enjoy the use of studio lighting for the ability to control light and shadow at any time of day or in any season.
